Biden, Palin debate
Be sure to catch the VP debate tomorrow on CNN at 9pm eastern time. It should be interesting considering some of the recent interviews with VP candidate Palin by Katie Couric (See the youtube video below). Notice how Katie has to keep herself from laughing… and notice that Palin seem poorly prepared for the interview. Has she spoken to McCain recently? How much does she really know about him, his past, his “service to the country,” and the GOP’s platform?
How tragic… She may speak well behind a podium with a memorized speech, but how does she operate in an off-the-cuff setting? Not well, apparently. I’m guessing the GOP wants to continue the line of bad public speakers – not only in how they deliver, but in knowledge of present issues and situations.

Why not question that the moderator, Gwen Ifill, of the upcoming Biden-Palin debate is pro-Obama. She wrote a book that praises Obama, obviously she will try her best to make Palin look bad in the debate Why couldn’t the moderator be more fair and bi-partisan?
Why not make fun of Joe Biden, who thinks FDR was President in 1929, and thinks paying more taxes is patriotic?
I’m amazed that you think people are incapable of being unbiased, or at least setting aside their personal feelings and doing their job well. Are not some of us asked to do just that on a daily basis? I think some of us are capable of being adults.
And Biden, I wouldn’t have picked him, rest assured. But at least he took a stab at being specific rather than avoiding the question or talking about the subject in circumlocutionary terms.
And don’t get me started on taxes. That’s whole different can of worms.
Thanks for the comment.
